This book accompanies the exhibition Port City Talks. İstanbul Antwerp whose nar-rative is based on discovering the relati-onships between a port and its hinterland, takingas examples the landmarks and ma-ritime entities of istanbul and Antwerp. Via Works that have been produced lar-gely by young artists, the narrative in which objects are placed in a multimedia setting explores what a port and the presence of water mean fort he two ci-ties. Taking us on walk through Istanbul, a transit city in continual transition, we aim to introduce alternative views of both Is-tanbul and Anterp, redefined by artists' points of view and enriched by archaeo-logical objects and historical material.
